The war in Korea is over and the world is experiencing a time of great prosperity and great division. While mainstream America is playing in Disneyland and eating burgers at McDonalds, if you were black in the South, you'd have to sit in the back of the bus or if you were in Cuba your country was undergoing a revolution that would change the island forever. Meanwhile in a small, hot recording studio in Memphis, a young man named Elvis Presley is about to change his world with one song.  Highlights from this edition include Elvis' early recordings at Sun Records and his major hits such as Heartbreak Hotel, Blue Suede Shoes and his first film, Love Me Tender.
